Bracelet: 13 Nights
The Icelandic Christmas begins on 23 December and ends on the 6 January. The Icelandic children are fortunate enough to be visited by 13 Yule Lads and the child places a shoe in their bedroom window each evening for 13 nights before Christmas. The Yuletide lad visits and leaves either sweet/small gifts or rotting potato depending on how the child has behaved on the preceding day.
